The D147 Champion Bread Presidents set is a (29) card set of U.S. Presidents from George Washington through Calvin Coolidge. The set was likely issued sometime in the 1930's and features oversized sepia-toned cards that measure 3 1/4" W by 4 7/8" H. The cards feature an inset image of the President with his term and name listed on the front. The back has a small narrative about the president at the top and advertising for Champion Bread from Hauck Bakery of St. Louis, MO.
This lot is for a single D147 Champion Bread U.S. Presidents card of the subject William Howard Taft that has been graded PSA5.5 or EX+. Clean card of the largest U.S. President, the 26th in a line of 47 so far.
