The N171 Goodwin Old Judges Celebrities & Miscellaneous lot includes a number of actress cards as well as cards for other celebrities. The cards are albumen photo cards adhered to heavy cardboard--similar to the N172 Old Judge baseball series that is immensely popular. The cards can be found with varying degrees of photo clarity and in varying conditions. The backs are blank and the fronts contain varying types of advertising for Old Judge--mostly at the bottom of the card.
This single card pictures three African-American boys playing marbles and is titled "Sunny South Series". The card is from Goodwin Old Judge and has the same image as the Sunny South Series from Gail & Ax, Kimball and Honest Long Cut but in a smaller format like the normal Old Judge cards. There doesn't appear to be a specific classification for this card other than possibly N171, so that's where we are putting it. The card is in about VGEX condition but does have pinholes on the top two corners as well as lighter photo clarity. Super tough card from an obscure subseries of Old Judge cards.
