The Kellogg's "Joinies" set was a 12 card set measuring about 4x5 inches printed on medium cardboard stock that was pre-punched and meant to be punched out and assembled. Once assembled the collector was left with a 3D version of the character on the front of the card. All the card subjects are famous Disney characters and were a popular subject during the 1940's and 1950's. This set was issued in boxes of Kellogg's cereal in 1949.
This lot includes a pair of Donald Duck "Joinies"--the only two in the set--in EX to EXMT condition and very clean. There is the regular Donald Duck and the caballero version Donald Duck.
