The F280-2 Ralston Purina Space Patrol Pictures set is an interesting set of thin paper cards numbering (24) in total. The cards were issued in Ralston Purina Chex cereal boxes in the 1950's. The cards have a central circular image picturing an image from the set intended to be stared at until it 'burns' into the retina. An oddball set that you would think parents would not be jazzed about. The cards measure 2 13/16" W by 4 3/8" H, have small notches on the sides and are printed on a very thin paper stock.
This near set (21/24) cards from the F280-2 Ralston Purina Space Patrol Pictures set are in VGEX to EX and mostly clean. The set is missing 14, 15 and 21 to be complete.
