The R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories is a difficult set from the 1930's. The set's subjects are akin to the Ripley's Believe it or Not type of stories and contain some interesting subjects. The most popular card in the set is that of the "Bat-Man" which predates the actual Batman comics by a couple years and is very popular for nonsports and comic collectors alike.
This single R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories #14 The Battle of the Ants card is in poor condition with a paper pull about the size of a quarter on the back. Other than that flaw, the card is in VGEX condition.
