The N375 Ellis Tobacco Breeds of Dogs series is a set of (25) cards issued by Ellis Tobacco with three different brands of their cigarettes--Triplex, Bengals Cheroots and Tiger cigarettes. The cards in the set can be found with bottom front advertising for each of these three brands offering up a total of (75) different variations for the set. Arguably the most beautiful dog cards of the 19th century tobacco cards, this set is very popular with collectors.
This trio of N375 Ellis Tobacco Breeds of Dogs are all in lower condition--each of which have some type of back issue. The subjects include Tiger Cigarettes (2 cards: Dalmation or Coach Dog and Sky Terrier) and Bengal Cheroots (1 card: English Setter). Nice filler lot until better copies surface.
