The N29 Allen & Ginter World's Champions (2nd Series) is the follow-up to the very popular N28 first series. The set numbers (50) cards and has (6) baseball subjects among the (50). In addition to baseball, the set again pictures boxers and other athletes. Unlike the N28 series, the N29 series has a large format companion series in the N43 effort. The cards are very popular with collectors.
This lot is for one of the (6) baseball cards from the N29 Allen & Ginter set--the John Morrell subject. At first glance, the cards looks to be in about VG condition but does have a spot of paper loss on Morrell's chin, some light staining at the top front of the card and more significant staining on both the top and bottom of hte back of the card. The checklist, and most of the back printing, however, is in mostly clean condition.
