The R96 classification has two varieties of cards made by two different companies. The R96-1 cards were issued by Gum Inc and measure 5" by 7". The cards can be found numbered 1-25 (type A) or unnumbered (type B). The R96-2 were issued by Dietz Gum and number 26 subjects imaged at non-sport.com. The cards are black and white with the R96-1 being on white card stock and the R96-2 being on white and colored stock.
This lot of (7) R96-1B Gum Inc Motion picture stars includes the following VGEX stars: Olympe Bradna, Olivia De Havilland, Joan Marsh, Fannie Brice, Iris Meredith, Rosalind Russell and Judy Garland. Great lot of these oversized cards.
