The N377 Ellis Tobacco Recruit Cigarettes Civil War Generals pictures generals from both the Confederacy and the Union sides in colorful lithography for the late 1880's. The 25 card set are tougher than many of the mainstream issues but set completion is possible with patience and dollars. The set contains Lee and Grant as well as many of the other more well-known generals of the Civil War.
This lot of (3) cards from the very tough N377 H. Ellis & Co Generals set are in GVG to VG condition and includes the following subjects: Gen J.A. Early, Gen. R.S. Ewell and Gen. Sidney Johnston. Great lot of mostly clean cards from this very difficult set.
