The 1957 Topps Space Cards set is an (88) card effort from topps in the standard 2-1/2" tall by 3-1/2" wide format. The card pictures rockets, satellites and spacemen and likely caught the minds of the young children of the day. The U.S. was in a space race with the Soviet Union and satellites and space travel was at the forefront of scientific studies. The set can also be found with "Target Moon" moniker on the backs of the cards and half the cards were re-issued in 1968 with salmon colored backs as "Target Moon" series.
This 1957 Topps Space complete set of (88) cards is in EX to NRMT condition, averaging about EXMT. Great set of this very popular issue.
