This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/26/2022
This lot includes a group of (4) 1860's-1880's Carte De Visite's (CDV's) picturing political figures and those affiliate with political figures. From top left to right, top to bottom the different CDV's include: Mrs. Ulysses S. Grant from Brady's National Portrait Gallery of Washington DC, John Quincy Adams from Charles Taber & Co of New Bedford Massachusetts, Chester A Arthur from O.C. Haskell & Company of Chicago and finally a horizontal photo of U.S. Grant and Family likely before his term in office that is unattributed as to the maker. All four of the CDV's in this lot measure the standard 2-1/2" by 4-1/2" CDV size and are in VGEX to EX condition and very clean other than some inconsequential pencil writing on the backs of the mounts of a couple of the cards.
