Like many other offerings and a number of sets in this very auction, the 1930 British American Tobacco (BAT) Indians set borrowed the artwork from the N2/N36 Allen & Ginter Indians set of the 1880's. And, like many of the other sets, the BAT set also uses reversed images that have been enhanced from the more muted colors of the N2/N36 Allen & Ginter sets. The cards are numbered on the back and include all the same subjects as the other sets.
This lot of (5) 1930 BAT Indian Chiefs are in Good to VGEX condition and include the following numbers: 3, 8, 15, 21 and 47.
