The Newsboy Tobacco Company offered these trade cards to illustrate the premium photos that could be had for saving enough tobacco tags and redeemed with any local merechant who displayed them in his or her window. Tobacco tags were a popular redemption item that were made from tin with advertising for the respective tobacco company. They were very popular and widely spread item in the late 19th century and many still survive today due to their composition from tin.

This is a complete set of these 3-1/4" x 6" trade cards in Good to EX condition.
