The N269 Lorillard's Mechanic's Delight Prizefighters set is a (50) card set picturing the famous boxers of the late 19th century. The set pictures boxers like Paddy Ryan, John L Sullivan, Jack Dempsey and all of the other famous pugilists. The cards can be found in either brown tint or green tint. The cards are numbered on the front of the card right above the boxer's name and Lorillard's Advertising. The backs of the cards have a short biography of the boxer as well as some of their more famous bouts up through the 1887 season.
This lot is for a single type card from the N269 Lorillard's Mechanic's Delight Prizefighters set of the subject #31 Jimmy Elliot. The card is in Fair to good with heavy creasing but is clean otherwise front and back.
