Fantastic redemption album for the F277 Heinz Famous Air Pilots series from the late 1930's. Heinz Rice Flake and Heinz Breakfast Wheat cereals had a long-running promotion in the late 1930's, issuing three different sets of cards as well as oversized premiums of some of eight of those cards. For the small cards, as a redemption, they offered this album, housing spaces for the pilots. In addition, they made the album in the next lot to house the cards from the airplanes set. Included in this lot is the original mailing envelope and the brochure that came in that envelope for the Air Pilots set.
The album is in EXMT condition save for a small indentation on the front. The brochure is in EX to EXMT condtiion and the envelope is in P condition with tears. Phenomenal grouping.
