Globe Imports issued at least a couple of small playing card sets around 1969--a baseball set and a set picturing mostly movie stars and news makers of the 20th century. Both sets are diminutive in size and printed on thin card stock. The sets are often found complete and shrinkwrapped. The nonsports set seems to be a little more difficult than the baseball set. The Nonsports set includes Babe Ruth and a number of oddities like Laurel and Hardy, Albert Einstein, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Shirley Temple, Napoleon, Robert Kennedy, Slphia Lauren, Charlie Chaplin, Valentino, Peter Caine, Barbara Streisand, Bob Dylan and the Wolfman as the Joker. Interesting, oddball set.
This set of (53) cards is complete and in EX to EXMT condition and very clean.
