The N70 Duke's Tobacco Actors & Actresses set of (50) cards pictures famous Actors and Actresses in costume from one of their memorable roles. The set is one of two actor and actress small format sets that Duke Tobacco issued in the late 1880's to early 1890's. Both sets picture many famous people of the day including Mary Anderson, Sandra Bernhardt, Edwin Booth, Joe Jefferson, Lilly Langtry and Lillian Russell.

This near set of (43/50) cards are generally in Fair condition with most all cards having some level of back issues from light staining to heavier staining to paper loss. The card fronts have generally nice appearance with the back issues obvious in the large photos.
