The N51 Allen & Ginter Presidents set is one of the tougher real albumen photo sets from Allen & Ginter. The set includes the first 22 presidents of the United States through Grover Cleveland and was likely issued sometime in the 1885 through 1889 time frame. The cards are relatively rare. The backs of the cards contain a checklist of the cards in the set.
This lot is for a single N51 Allen & Ginter Benjamin Pierce graded PSA1 or Poor. The card has paper loss right above Pierce's head and some discoloration in the upper right none of which actually affects the picture of Pierce. The card has decent photo clarity and an extremely clean back and would be a good addition to a graded type card collection or to fill a hole in a N51 set.
