The Kinney Leaders set of (25) cards, classified as N222 in the ACC, is one of the most popular Kinney sets made. As it's a 25 card set, it is easy to collect and complete. The set pictures attractive graphics of a bust of the leader with a vignette below of an action scene that they would be known for. The backs have a checklist and notes the set name and advertisement for Kinney Brothers High Class Cigarettes. The cards can be found in both a wide and narrow version, the difference being only about 1/8" to 3/16". It is unknown why the two versions exist but could possibly be explained by different package sizing for the distribution of the cigarettes.
This lot is for a single N222 Kinney Leaders picturing General Scobeloff that has been graded PSA7 or Near Mint. The PSA Pop Report notes 22 graded N222 Scobeloff cards, not distinguishing between narrow and wide versions. This PSA7 is POP4 with (2) graded higher.
