The World Wide Gum company issued the World Wonder Series that was issued by Maynards of Canada in 1920. The card is from the V144 series and is one of (23) cards picturing "Wonders" akin to the Ripley's Believe it or Not series. Cards in the series might also be considered "circus freak" type of cards or people that would be considered oddities like the Bearded Lady, Sandown, Fat Man, Siamese Twins and others.
This lot is for Card #13 Wild Man from Borneo from the V144 World Wide Gum series that has been graded PSA5 EX. The card is a very scarce type from a very scarce card set in very nice condition. Great card for the type card collector.
