Number one cards in any nonsports sets are typically found in lower grade and are often hard to find due to the fact they were typically on top of stacks of cards--maybe held together by rubber bands or other methods. They typically took the brunt of condition issues and may have been handled more because of it. This lot of (3) cards includes all #1 cards from three different Canadian Chocolate card issues from the Cowan's Chocolate company. The issues in the lot include: V11 Cowan's Canadian Forest Trees #1 Hard Maple (PSA4 VG-EX), V16 Cowan's Learn to Swim #1 Front Dive (PSA5 EX) and V17 Cowan's Noted Cats #1 Champion Fulmer Zaida (PSA6 EX-MT). These cards are beautiful, clean examples of the first cards of these three respective 1920' Canadian chocolate sets. Great lot.
