The N489 Blue Bordered Actresses set is a set of stock photos that were used to advertise a number of different tobacco companies as well as other products. Tobacco companies using the stock to advertise include brands such as Mexican Puffs, Old Havana Puffs, Real Havana Flips, Sweet Bouquet and others from companies like Cameron & Sizer, American Cigar Company and, most commonly, American Eagle Tobacco Company. The fronts of the cards identify the subject on the card. They can also be commonly found blank backed without advertising for any specific company. The cards measure 1-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" high.

This lot of (4) N489 Blue Bordered actresses includes (3) blank backed actresses to include the following subjects: Mrs. Langtry (Lillie), Ladie Littler and Sadie Martinot and a version of Emma Stone with Mexican Puff Advertising on the back. All (4) cards are clean specimens.
