The C98 Imperial Tobacco of Canada World War I Scenes set is a set of (144) cards issued in Canada through the British American Tobacco conglomerate. The cards measure 1-3/4" by 2-1/2" and are a sepia-toned card picturing images from World War I and Canada's impact in the war. The cards are numbered and titled on the bottom front of the card and the cards have blank backs. The cards are printed on a porous type stock and are very condition sensitive. It is apparent that the cards were issued in 1916.
This complete set of C98 Imperial Tobacco of Canada totals (144) cards. The cards are in Poor to Good condition with most falling into the Fair to Good range. This is a tough set to complete, so to find it complete is an unusual feat. Could be a great addition to a Canadian card collection.
