The W625 Meyercord Star-Cal Decals Movie Stars set is of undetermined size but includes decals inside of a crimson or blue outer envelope that could be soaked off and onto any type of flat surface. In addition to the Movie stars set, Meyercord also issued a baseball stars set which is extremely popular. The decals were sold on a point of sale piece that generally had 12-20 individual decals and could be easily replenished. They are sometimes found with glue stains on the back where they were mounted in albums. The majority of stars can be found in either crimson or blue envelopes but some subjects are only found in one or the other. Luminaries such as Lucille Ball, Doris Day, Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis and others are found in these interesting sets.
This lot of (23) Red Decal W625 Meyercord Star-Cal Decal Movie Stars are largely in VGEX to EX condition with a couple having light back damage. Great lot of these popular movie star items.
