This lot is a Phenomenal piece of Goudey Gum history. 1919 Original Stock certificate made out on Feb 27, 1919, for ten shares to Ludwig W. Buckley. The certificate is #7 and contains the signatures of Harold Delong as Treasurer and E G Goudey as President. Goudey and Delong are two names synonymous with 1930's gum production in Boston and architects of many of the gum cards from both the Goudey and subsequently the Delong company during this time.
This Goudey Stock certificate has some condition issues around the outer edges--most noticeably on the bottom right border. This is a great piece of Goudey history autographed by the architects of the company and some of the most important card sets in both the sports and nonsports industries.
