V254 American Indians Unbranded Lot of (22) Cards

The V254 Pappoose Gum is one of the many sets that use the Allen & Ginter artwork from the 1880's. The artwork, as it has in other later series, has reversed images and embellished artwork--feathers added and brighter colors. The set contains the same (50) subjects as do the other variations of the artwork. The cards can be found with no advertising on the back or with advertising for both Papoose Gum or Tee Pee Gum.

This lot of (22) cards from the V254 American Indians set are the tougher "No brand" back. The cards in this lot include: 1, 6(2), 9(2), 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35(2), 36, 40, 43, 49 and 50. The cards in the group generally run between fair and VG with most being around GVG.
