The V1 Cowans Chocolates Airships set was issued in 1925 and totals (24) cards of early aviation images. Like most of the Cowan sets, the colorful cards in the Airships set have a coupon at the bottom that is often removed for redemption.
This mixed set of V1 Cowan's Airships includes graded and raw cards and cards with and without the tabs at the bottom. The graded cards all include tabs and include the following subjects: #7 Blimp (PSA3 VG), #8 Spad (PSA3 VG), #10 Winter Flying (PSA3 VG) and #15 This Picture Shows... (PSA3 VG). The ungraded cards with tabs include: 1, 2, 3, 11, 18 and 20. These cards are in VG to EX condition. The ungraded cards missing tabs include: 4 Junker's All Metal Plane, 9 A Parachute Jump, 13 Flying Boat, 19 Parachute and 22 Cadet. These cards are in VG to VGEX condition other than coupon trimming.
