Maybe no other properties have been used for advertising as much as the characters created by Walt Disney--Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck primarily. From their first appearances, Mickey Mouse (1928) and Donald Duck (1934) were advertising gold. Whether in the Disney movies, print advertising, inserts in popular products, or to pitch products from all types of manufacturers, the characters were ubiquitous during the middle part of the 20th century until today.
This map measures approximately 24" x 36" and is folded as would maps be folded from the 1950's. The outside is ringed with spots for the (36) cards in the UO64 Standard Oil card set to be affixed. The spots are numberd D1-D18 (for Donald) and M1-M18 (for Mickey). This piece is in great condition given its size and age and would make a great addition to any Disney collectior or addition to a collection of Oil Industry premiums.
