T85 Strollers Lot of (58) from Series 1 and 2A

The T85 Set was issued with a number of different backs and in subsets that create an interesting collecting opportunity. In addition, the same subjects were used in Tobacco Products in Canada as well as on strip cards in the U.S. as well. To collect all three types for all the different series combinations and permutations is a daunting challenge. The cards are diminutive black and white cards picturing movie stars from the 1920's and 1930's, are numbered on the front in the lower left and have advertising for Strollers cigarettes on the back from the Tobacco Products Corporation of New York City.

This lot includes (58) T85 Strollers cards numbered between 1-100 from Series 1 and Series 2A. There are (33) Series 1 cards and (25) Series 2A. The cards average about VGEX to EX and there is very light duplication within some of the Types.
