The T68 Series are historical figures and can be found with backs as Heroes of History (first 50 subjects) or Men of History (second 50 subjects). The cards are most commonly found with Royal Bengals Little Cigar, Miner's Extra and Pan Handle Scrap backs but can also be found with the tougher Natural Leaf backs. The set has become wildly popular in the last few years with historical characters like Washington, Lincoln, Hamilton, Geronimo, Sitting Bull and many, many more. Presidents, statesmen, Indians, authors, inventors and other luminaries litter the set of 100 cards.
This lot of (29) cards from the T68 Men of History set are all Royal Bengals-backed cards that have all been graded by PSA that include the following subjects: PSA4.5 VG-EX+ (2 cards: Sir Henry Irving and Cyrus W. Field), PSA4 VG-EX (6 cards: Elihu Yale, Hon. Chas. Stewart Parnell, Louis IV of France, Edward VII of England, Elizabeth of England and Hernando Cortez), PSA3.5 VG+ (1 card: Henry Clay) PSA3 VG (7 cards: Roger Williams, Gen. Anthony Wayne, Mary Stuart, Robert Emmett, Hon. Horace Greeley, Wendell Phillips and Henry Ward Beecher), PSA2.5 Good+ (4 cards: Peter Stuyvesant, Lord Baltimore, Alexander the Great and Inspector Byrnes), PSA2 Good (Hon Chas. Sumner, Capt. John Stark, Henry M. Stanley, Capt Miles Standish, Cardinal Richelieu, Richard III of England, Francisco Pizarro and Julius Caesar) and PSA1.5 Fair (1 card: Henry VIII King of England). This is a great lot for the set builder representing 30% of the set. Regardless of the technical grades, many of the PSA2's look as good as the PSA4's. All cards have been scanned front and back for large format viewing. This lot is a companion lot to the previous lot of (29) Heroes of History and together they represent nearly 60% of the complete set.
