The T62 Turkish Trophies Fortune Series is a (505) card set with (101) basic designs, each of which has (5) different fortunes. The card fronts have inset images with the fortune with a light aqua border and flowers. The backs advertise for Turkish Trophies. The cards measure 2-5/8" wide by 3-1/4" high.
This incredible assemblage includes (18) different progressive proof sheets for a dozen cards from the T62 Turkish Trophies Fortune Series cards. The 20 sheets are in Good to VG condition with some chipping and other condition issues but the field of the images are all in good shape. In addition to the (18) sheets there is also a bill of sale from 1969 for the piece. It notes (20) sheets but there are only (18) in this lot as submitted. The bill of sale is an interesting piece of history. The bill of sale is from Abe Brayer of 417 Grand Street in New York City to a TAD. Just an incredible lot of history. Progressive proofs are readily available for 1960's and 1970's Topps cards but rarely seen for Tobacco cards from the 1910's.
