The T59 Flags set is a variation collector's wildest dream. It is believed that upwards of 7700+ cards could be collected in this set where the actual subjects only number 200. About a dozen different tobacco companies inserted these cards into their products and within those companies a number of different colors were used for the back printing as well as a number of different factories. The combinations and permutations of these rival the Old Judge and T206 baseball sets and actually number far more than either. Whether you attempt to finish just the 200 card set or do a back run of different types, there are many different ways to collect this set. If doing a back run, you'll find that one of the tougher backs to find examples of is the Puritan Little Cigars back.
This lot is for a group of (4) tougher T59 backs to include the following subjects: London (Scrap Iron Scrap), Russia Pilot Flag (Sweet Caporal Tobacco Wrappers), Russia Man of War Flag (Hustler) and Spain Man of War Flag (Big Run Cigarros). All cards are in VGEX to EX condition.
