T27 Fatima Actress Complete Set of (84) Cards

The T27 Fatima actresses set is an 84 card set printed with three different background looks--white border, gold border or stars & crescents border. The white bordered cards are checklisted first in American Tobacco Cards in alphabetical order and tally 39 subjects. The gold cards are next with 30 subjects and the stars and crescents bordered cards tally 25 subjects for a total of 84 cards. Two subjects--Marie Doro in the white border series and Mary Ryan in the gold border series have two cards--with and without hats. The cards can also be found with backs advertising Richmond Straight Cut cigarettes which are much tougher than the more common Fatima backs. Many of the subjects can be found in other sets of the 1910's including T85 Strollers and others. A sample sheet from each of the three borders have been scanned and are representative of the overall condition of the set itself.

The condition of the set largely falls in the VG to VGEX range with some higher and some lower. 6 of the cards have some level of back damage or hole punching. Of the (84) cards (4) of them are of the very tough back variation "Richmond Straight Cut". Great, complete set.
