Auction #18 - October 2024
The R41 Dick Tracy set of (144) cards was issued in 1937 by the Walter H Johnson candy company of Chicago, IL. The cards were issued with Dick Tracy Caramels in 1 cent packs. The cards picture Tracy and his cast of characters fighting crime and solving problems. A large find of cards numbered 121-144 in very high grade was found in the 1980's and most sets typically have those high number cards in EXMT or better.
