The N88 Duke Tobacco Terrors of America set was a comical set issued picturing young boys in various activities that might have been considered problematic in the 1880's--giving rise to people calling these boys "Terrors". Five or six of the cards picture baseball scenes--a bat or ball in the picture--or mention umpires or some other baseball term. These cards typically are more popular due to baseball collectors picking them up for type cards for baseball sets.
Condition breakdown on this set of (50) cards is as follows: VGEX to EX condition (37 cards), VG condition (5 cards) and F/G condition (8 cards due to small spots of paper loss on the front or back). The set is uniformly clean and displays well even with the lesser condition cards. A few upgrades would put this set squarely in the mid to upper mid range.
