The N4 Allen & Ginter Birds of America set is one of a number of small and large format bird sets that Allen & Ginter produced in the late 1880's. The colorful chromolithographed set is comprised by (50) subjects found in the United States. The birds are pictured in their natural habitats in colorful paintings.
This lot of (15) cards from the N4 Allen & Ginter Birds of America set range between GVG to VGEX with most being in the VG to VG+ range. The fronts and backs are mostly clean with the exception of a pair of cards with light back damage. Great group for the bird card lover or set builder.
