The N45 Allen & Ginter Virginia Brights Actresses set is one of a myriad of actress sets issued in what is believed to have been the 1887-1890 period. The N45's can be found in a variety of formats with some subjects appearing in multiple formats with different typesetting at the bottom front and with or without the subject identified. The set numbers into the high hundreds if not thousands of cards and offer the variation collector a great opportunity to pick up cards for a great collection. As with all other 19th century Albumen photo cards, the photo clarity can run the gamut on these cards.
This lot includes a trio from the Allen & Ginter Virginia Bright's actresses series. The three cards have been graded PSA8 NM-MT and include the following subjects: Miss Abbott, Miss Randall and M'lle Annie Robe. The Randall card is the N45-2 variation with the other two cards being N45-1 variations. Great lot of cards that would be a welcome addition to any high grade 19th century actress collection.
