The N2 set pictures the same (50) American Indians using the same interior picture artwork as the larger format set. The artwork for this set would be the basis for countless other sets into even the 1930's. The set pictures Indian Chiefs from all over North America with subjects like Geronimo, Sitting Bull, Chief Joseph and others. The set represents possibly one of, if not the most popular sets of the 19th century small format chromolithographed cards. They are highly sought and very popular with collectors not only of tobacco cards but of Western and Indian ephemera.
This lot of N2 Allen & Ginter American Indians cards includes (3) cards with moderate back damage and one with torn/worn corners. The other 6 cards are in GVG to EX condition. The lot contains a pair of Geronimo cards--both of which are in poor condition. Great lot of filler cards until some better condition cards are obtained.
