This lot contains (2) Goodwin & Company Old Judge Diecuts. These can be found from two different lithographers--Major & Knapp of New York and H. Bencke of New York. This lot has the monocled man from each of these lithographers. The Major Knapp version has a paper pull on the back in the center where it had previously been glued into an album. The back of the Bencke version exhibits some residue where it was once glued as well. Both pieces have a small tear to the right side below the ear. Although, at first glance, they appear to be alike, they do have some noticeable differences, primarily in the lower neck area.
