The N67 Allen & Ginter set pictures actresses created using an early form of a printing technology used today called Collotype printing. The N67 set has sepia toned pictures that are printed on the card and not albumen photo applied pictures like many of the early sets of cards. The set numbers (25) named actresses.
This card pictures Mdme de Bebian and is in about VG condition. The card does suffer from some corner rounding--most noticeably on the bottom right and has a ballpoint "#67" written on the clean back. This is the card used for the plate photo in the American Tobacco Cards book from Bob Forbes & Terence Mitchell. Great addition to a type card collection. These cards are very difficult to obtain in any condition and are rarely seen.
