The N88 Duke Tobacco Terrors of America set was a comical set issued picturing young boys in various activities that might have been considered problematic in the 1880's--giving rise to people calling these boys "Terrors". Five or six of the cards picture baseball scenes--a bat or ball in the picture--or mention umpires or some other baseball term. These cards typically are more popular due to baseball collectors picking them up for type cards for baseball sets.
Condition breakdown on this set of (50) cards falls within the poor to VGEX range with most being GVG/VG. 3-4 cards have some level of back damage but the rest generally have a uniform look to them. Nice chance to pick up a quaint 19th century complete set of Duke Tobacco cards.
