The N101 Duke Tobacco Breeds of Horses set is a 25 card set issued by Duke with their Honest Long Cut brand in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The cards picture a faux wood paneled background with a horse picture superimposed in the foreground. The different horses pictured are from all parts of the world. The stock photos have also been used for sets of cards from other types of manufacturers like pianos and coffee.
The condition breakdown on this near set (22/25) is as follows: Fair to Good (15 cards) and VG to VGEX (7 cards). A number of the Fair to Good cards have had significant trimming along 3-4 borders. Interesting group of popular horse cards from the late 19th century.
