The 1927 Godfrey Phillips Red Indian set of (25) cards is a popular UK issue depicting a similar subject to many of the U.S. candy, gum, tobacco and bread cards--U.S. American Indians. The set has some of the same subjects of those U.S. and Canadian based issues and proved to be just as popular in the UK as the ones in North America were. With a lineup including Pocahantas, Sitting Bull, Pontiac, Geronimo and Chief Joseph, the set is a who's who of American Indian Chiefs.
The condition breakdown on the set is as follows: VGEX to EX (18 cards) and VG to VG+ (7 cards).
