The A23 Allen & Ginter Paris Exposition 1889 Album is one of the very few albums that don't correspond to any of the cards issued by Allen & Ginter. The album pictures scenes from the wildly popular Paris Exposition of 1889. The Paris Exposition was held on the 100th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille and was active from May 6, 1889 – Oct 31, 1889. The exposition was the unveiling of new technology and thought and there were attractions like the unveiling of the Eiffel Tower, Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley in a Wild West Show and many other popular attractions.
This copy of the A23 album is in lower condition with issues on the perimeter and is missing the original string. It is a good example to have a reading and visual copy to be looked at.
