The R80 Novelty Gum League of Nations set is a 50 card set picturing a native with the country's flag in the background and a small vignette in the background of something for which the country is known. The cards were issued in packs and also had a small cardboard box that looked like a book that would hold all 50 cards. The box was available from a redemption offer and is very difficult to obtain. There is a box and wrapper in another lot in this auction.
This lot of (8) PSA-graded cards includes the following: PSA7 (3 cards) including #31 Luxembourg (1 at grade, none higher), #38 Poland (2 at, none higher) and #44 Serbia (3 at, none higher). PSA6 (5 cards) including #22 Germany (2 at, none higher), #23 Greece (1 at, 1 higher), #32 Mexico (1 at, 1 higher), #35 Palestine (4 at, none higher) and #42 Sardinia (2 at, none higher).
