The V48 Lowney Famous Trains set is an interesting set of cards issued in Canada in Lowney chocolate bars. The cards are long, thin cards picturing train cars. There are 5 different trains, each with 7 train cars/engines. The cards were meant to be accumulated and when the full set of (35) cards were redeemed to the company, a souvenir package of chocolates would be sent in return.
The condition of this set ranges from poor to EX with most falling into the GVG to VG range. The set is presentable and a difficult set to complete.
