The N146 Set from Duke's Tobacco are slightly larger than the N145 series but smaller than the larger, oversized Duke cards of the same timeframe. The series can be found with Duke's Mixture on the front at the bottom or with Duke of Durham. The series contains a number of politicians, actors and actresses and other celebrities of the day.
This lot includes a single N146 Duke's Mixture Card for President Cleveland. The card is in about VG condition with just a hair of flaking in the lower right corner keeping it from a better grade. The back has some light pencil markings. Cleveland's first term as U.S. President was from 1885 to 1889, helping to date this series to sometime in that time frame.
