The T100 series is one of the more interesting card sets in the 20th century tobacco realm. The set is a (100) set picturing silhouettes of people in early 20th century poses. From smokers to band members to sports figures, these black and white cards picture all types of people.
This lot is for a single T100 card featuring the baseball player from the set. As the only baseball player in the set, this catcher pose is very popular and likely the key to completing the set. Coveted by nonsports and baseball collectors alike, this pose is believed to be representative of Roger Bresnahan--a Hall of Famer primarily known for his stint with the NY Giants.
