Topps 1965 effort for Gilligan's Island was an extremely rare, narrowly issued set of (55) cards. The cards were black and white on the front with black and red backs. The Gilligan's Island show was one of the most popular of the day and remains popular even in syndication now. The characters of Gilligan, Skipper, Mary Ann, The Proffessor, Ginger and the Howell's were among some of the best known characters of TV in the 1960's. The show featured the stranded crew on an island and their antics in day to day life trying to get off the island.
This lot is for a single 1965 Topps Gilligan Island of #37. The card has been graded as PSA8 NM/MT and is in fantastic condition. There are (17) PSA8's with just six higher.
