The N192 Kimball Beautiful Bathers set is one of a few different card sets picturing women in beach bathing attire of the day. The cards have different beach names on them and represent an early look at figures which could be considered slightly controversial in the late 1880's.
This near set (15/20) cards is in generally VG to VGEX condition with a couple better and a few worse. There are a couple cards with back paper loss and a couple with pencil writing on the back. Overall, a very nice lot that comprises 75 percent of a complete set that is quite a bit more difficult to complete than the average 19th century set.
